Known for: Anna Lapwood (born 1995) is a British organist, conductor, and broadcaster, known for her vibrant performances and advocacy for women in music. As the youngest Director of Music at Pembroke College, Cambridge (2016–2025), she founded the Girls’ Choir and Cambridge Organ Experience for Girls. An exclusive Sony Classical artist, her 2025 album Firedove includes original compositions. As Associate Artist at the Royal Albert Hall, she performs on its iconic organ, blending classical and contemporary music. A BBC presenter and 2023 Royal Philharmonic Society Gamechanger Award recipient, Lapwood has over a million social media followers, promoting the organ’s versatility. She’s set for recitals in 2025–2026, including at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
